The Motoman is a dolly mounted robotic arm. It is based in Johannesburg and fully transportable to any location in Southern Africa in our custom trailer.

A variety of camera configurations can be programmed into the Motoman. The actual lens nodal point can be used to accurately perform nodal pan, tilt and rolls.
The rig uses Giraffe standard tracks and requires 3 phase 15kW power.




We can export move data from the Motoman but this is not a direct system like the Flair driven rigs. If data is important please speak to us regarding your requirements.
Shoots with track lengths of up to 45m have been executed. The maximum track speed of the Motoman is 1.3 m/sec.
Long time lapse moves are easy to do on the Motoman. With a lowest move speed of 0.1 mm/sec the rig can be set to accurately track 1 meter every 3 hours, and then repeat that move at higher speeds.
